Special measures are implemented in the IRTG to support young families, e.g., with regard to flexible working hours, emergency childcare or childcare during conference attendance, etc.
As female researchers are still underrepresented in engineering disciplines, the IRTG 2657 provides additional programmes to support the academic careers of female researchers.
