Prof. Dr. Insa Neuweiler

Insa works on modelling of flow and transport processes in porous media and on coupled free flow and porous medium flow problems. This involves applications related to subsurface flow and transport, but also transport in PEM electrolysers or biofilm growth. Focus topics of the work are model upscaling, stochastic modelling and data assimilation.

She has been active in several research units, the last one on data assimilation in coupled hydrosystem models. She achieved awards for paper reviewing as well as for excellent teaching.
